Study Abroad Course

Students can come to Japan with a student visa and study Japanese for up to two years.
There are two types of courses: a preparatory course mainly designed to prepare students to enter Japanese universities, graduate schools, or vocational schools,
Both courses are comprehensive Japanese language courses that enable students to acquire the four skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, as well as learn Japanese culture.

    Classes will have homeroom teachers. Homeroom teachers provide guidance and consultation on everything from classes to daily life.

    Students at the Intermediate II level and above can choose to take the EJU Preparation Class, JLPT Preparation Class, etc. (UNITAS Kofu)
    Students at the Intermediate I level and above can choose to take the University or Graduate School Preparation Class.(UNITAS Tokyo)

    Experience Japanese culture!

    At the Intermediate II level and above, students can take various Japanese art and culture classes.Some exmaples are tea ceremony, Koto, Chigiri-e, flower arrangement, calligraphy, and so on.
    *Note: At the Tokyo campus, the Japanese cultural experience classes are not offered all year round, but only for a few months before the end of the school year in March.

    Learn another foreign language!(Only at UNITAS Kofu)

    Other foreign languages such as English, Chinese, and Spanish can also be studied at UNITAS Foreign Language Academy located in the same building.

This course is for students who come to Japan with a short-stay visa to study Japanese for a short period of time.

Refund Policy

Cancellation before enrollment: Tuition and fees for "other expenses" will be refunded except for the admission fee.

Cancellation after enrollment: No refund will be made.

Short-stay visa is denied: Tuition and fees for "other expenses" will be refunded except for the screening and admission fee.

Remittance fees for refunds: Applicants are responsible for all domestic and international remittance fees.

Course for Japanese Residents

This course is for Japanese residents who already have a visa.
This is a comprehensive Japanese language course that enables students to acquire the four skills of listening, reading, speaking, and writing, which will prepare them for higher education and employment.
